Session title: Unlocking Db2 for z/OS data with IBM Data Gate for watsonx

Session abstract: Db2 for z/OS is the mainframe relational database and has one the largest footprints in the enterprise database world. As hybrid-cloud and cloud-based environments are growing in significance and relevance, applications need secure, reliable access between Db2 for z/OS and the cloud.

Db2 Data Gate provides an integrated solution for offering access to Db2 for z/OS data without having to directly access Db2 for z/OS. Not only does it reduce operational costs of data replication, but it also avoids the need for consequential ETL adaptations. IBM watsonx.datasynergizes with Db2 Data Gate to scale analytics and incorporate AI insights into the readily available Db2 for z/OS data. Keziah Knopp and Martin Schneider will be discussing the newly-minted advantages and benefits of Db2 Data Gate for watsonx, focusing on the latest announcements and deployments.
